Sway   137 - 5     Bransgore    83 - 6

By picking up 5 bonus points and maintaining their unbeaten league record Sway clinched the Division 3 title with one game to go. Adam and Ross Clark continued their opening partnership and as usual Ross was run out this being the 5th time putting him in the exalted company of the fabled Mike Steadman. Joe Rodway hit a quick 14 and Adam Clark retired at 25, then Sway lost Terry Steadman for 9 before Jack Walton and Steve How enjoyed a good partnership. Walton retired and How and the returning A. Clark were both dismissed leaving Walton (32n.o) to close the innings at 137-5, Seb Binfield 2 - 34 and Andy Syrett 1 -17  taking the wickets.

Bransgore's reply never quite got up with the required run rate despite J.Cox (18) and C.Taylor (22) making early runs and a superb spell of hostile bowling from Rodway 3 0 11 2 assisted by catches by Steadman and keeper A.Clark allowed Walton to finish things off taking a wicket with his third delivery Rodway taking a straight forward catch leaving Bransgore 54 runs short.
